Suho's Grey Suit.

Kim Junmyeon who’s better known as Suho the leader of EXO, is what I would call class personified and it has everything to do with his style, the way he carries himself and how he delivers his sound overall his first EP, Self Portrait painted him as sophisticated, developed artist in my eyes.

Grey Suit is Suho’s 2nd mini album and I must say I wasn’t let down by the project, it was everything I expected from an artist like Suho, the album carried mostly classic 90s indie rock and a bit of soul, listening to the album I felt as if I was starring in an indie film, I love that feeling.

The aesthetics of the album were simple and sophisticated, Suho was channelling his inner indie rock star when cooking this project from the sophisticated Grey Suit and black suit to him performing with his band in an open field.

I loved the whole look and feel of the visuals displayed for this album but the sound and vocals are what really sold the whole thing for me, Suho is a great vocalist, the kind not to get boxed in one genre, we have seen him nail pop, Rnb and ballads songs with EXO so the vocals on this album shouldn’t come as a surprise.

My favourite tracks on the album are:

·        Hurdle

·        Morning Star

·        Decanting

·        Bear hug

I am in absolutely intrigued and in awe of Suho’s journey as a solo artist so far, I like the fact that he managed to sway away from the typical k-pop and k-RnB sound, this sound his working on right now feels and sounds more like him, sophisticated and capable.

I rate this album 9/10, I love the whole feel of the album, stream Grey Suit on all streaming platforms.
