Throwing up Bat signals for all Stays to come and congregate here! Stray kids’ ‘Oddinary’ has dropped

It’s been a few days since Stray Kids’ “Oddinary” album dropped and the frenzy hasn’t died down. The level at which Stray Kids never misses is admirable. They consistently keep Stays fed and we can’t help but stan harder.

On their latest body of work my heart belongs to “Maniac” and I am sure I am not the only one. So what do I think of the song? Well…if its not already obvious let the record show that I love love it. Start to finish. The song had me driving on the M1, Peak Johannesburg traffic chanting “ping ping”.

The parts that stood out for me on my first listen were Changbin’s raps, Felix’s voice and delivery of the word “maniac”😉 and Bang Chan’s opening verse. But I honestly loved the song in its entirety, I am not trying to play favourites and I don’t want the smoke! ㅋㅋㅋ

When if comes to “Oddinary” as a body of work it is a good album. I am, however, a “No easy” loyalist for the time being and for that reason I think I like “No easy” more.

Okay, so what other tracks do I like on the album? Well my other faves include “Muddy water”. Did someone order sick rhymes and flows?

Changbin, Hyunjin, HAN and Felix were on their BET Cypher tip with this track. It was giving very much old school Hip Hop. Imagine a LL Cool J feature on the track?! Please guys! This banger makes me wanna bump my head cigarette in hand (I don’t even smoke!) and just vibe to the smooth raps they delivered.

“Charmer” charmed me and that’s how it made its way to my faves list. I found the track to be a smooth one, easy to just jam to and well put together. It had me on the dancefloor but not too much to break my back.

Before I could even finish writing this article we were blessed with the music video for 거미줄…

Overall as a body of work I give “Oddinary” a 7/10! Go stream it on your preferred streaming platform and thank me later!
