The many Faces of Park Jimin
“Face” is Jimin's first solo project and just like that he stamped his place in the K-RnB field, It is just him merely using solely his voice and writing capabilities to lure the listener in just like a siren luring a sailor offshore, I can’t help but to be intrigued and crave more.
I would not mark this project as bold but the thought of an artist using his natural instruments within the whole project just indicates that he wants to reserve his own space on the industry on his own terms.
This project is something I would describe as somewhat a teaser, it leaves you wanting more and I think this is what Jimin intended from the very beginning with this album, for us to want to see all the other faces he is willing to put on as an artist.
My top 3 songs from the album are:
1. Face off
2. Like Crazy
3. Alone
You know what they say “once you Jim-in you can’t Jim-out” I am seated and listening to what Jimin has to say and offer.
I’m ready to see how far Jimin will go as an artist, I rate Face 8/10
